Angels in the snow
The angels in the snow have their own song
When the night is darkest they sing about the dawn
I stood in the shadows - in the rain and the wind
I was a stranger `till you opened up and let me in.. |
I stood alone until you came along
I was a homeless, but you made me to a home
You gave me warmth when everything was frost
The angels in the snow have their own song for people like us.
So hold me, stay with me, and be here
Sleep with me, and be here as refugee and lover and friend
And let me be a part of you, borrow body and soul of you
`till the heaven is burning again..;
..and the angels in the snow return back home..
Angels in the snow have their own life
In the winter they sing, but when the spring comes they fade
Angels in the snow have their own song
They are singing that all life here on board someday will be gone..
Angels in the snow are making song of the wind..
They are singing for anyone that opens up and take them in`
Angels in the snow are singing without words
When the spring comes they walk away without sorrow and trace
So hold me, stay with me and be here
Sleep with me and be here as refugee and lover and friend
And let me be a part of you, borrow body and soul of you
`till the heaven is burning again
..and the angels in the snow return back home
Be with me…. Stay with me….
